Current Openings

The Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra offers a unique, high-level performance opportunity for musicians through a diverse ensemble of professionals, educators, advanced students, and devoted amateurs. The orchestra presents three major performances at The Music Hall in Portsmouth, NH. Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings.

Currently the orchestra has openings for the following positions:

• Assistant Concertmaster (1 year, renewable)
• Principal Second Violin (1 year, renewable)
• All section strings (rotational seating)
• Flute/Piccolo (rotational seating)
• Tuba
• Percussion
• Substitute musicians for all instruments
