Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra Young Artist Concerto Competition

The Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce its Young Artist Concerto Competition. The competition date is Sunday, March 18, 2012 at The Woods Campus (Riverwoods) and is open to contestants

• Currently attending high school
• Performing on Orchestral Instruments (no piano)
• Who live within the greater Portsmouth Seacoast region (from Beverly to York and points west to Manchester)

Please see the Application for other requirements including repertoire requirements. The concert date is Sunday, June 3 2012 at 3:00pm at the Music Hall in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, on the program with Mahler Symphony No. 1. To enter, print the Application and return with

• Preliminary round video submitted on disk or located online
• Signed Application Form
• Sealed letter of recommendation from current or most recent instructor
• $25 non-refundable application fee made out to Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra (application fee can be waived; if in need please contact PSO)
