2025-2026 Season Family Matinees Series
Join musicians from the PSO for a fun, family-friendly concert that brings the world of string instruments to life! Our “Family Matinees” are designed especially for young audiences and their families. This interactive performance explores the sounds, styles, and versatility of the string family in an exciting and accessible way.
After the concert, stick around for hands-on activities. Kids can try out an instrument, color their own musical masterpiece, or even craft a mini violin out of pipe cleaners. A perfect introduction to classical music for curious minds!
Our 2025-2026 season concerts will be held at the Portsmouth Public Library at 175 Parrott Ave, Portsmouth at 3:00pm.
Performance will last for approximately 45 minutes.
