Chamber concerts for the whole family
Chamber music is a wonderful way for people of all ages to experience the delights, joys and range of emotions that classical music can evoke.
As part of the PSO’s ongoing mission to encourage the audiences and musicians of today and tomorrow, we are pleased to announce “Family Matinees,” a series of four chamber music concerts in 2023-2024 expressly geared towards families and youth.
Each performance will feature members of the Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra and will include a special guest performance by a youth string musician from the area.
Concerts are held at St. John’s Episcopal Church at 101 Chapel Street in Portsmouth, NH at 3:00pm. There is a suggested $15 at-the-door donation per family. For our mainstage season subscribers, admission is free.
