The PSO’s mission recognizes its responsibility to provide a range of educational opportunities to students in the Greater Seacoast area as we strive to build a strong and sustainable future for classical music.
Stringendo educates a well-rounded musician with music history, music theory, and exposure to classical masterworks while strengthening the strings programs in the area. Through chamber music, students are introduced to instrumental and orchestral music coached by musicians of the Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra.
